ERIC NYAMEKYE          STUDENT’S GOVERNANCE

Eric Nyamekye is a Professional Teacher and Environmentalist. He was the Assin South District Environmental Health Officer from 2003 to 2004. Currently, he is a Deputy Chief Health Tutor and the Head of Students’ Governance at the College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo a position he has occupied since 2019. Prior to this, he was the  Head of  Environment and Security at the same College from 2006 to 2019.

He graduated from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) for Bed. Health Sciences Education in 2007 and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for MSc. Environmental Sciences in 2012. He had his basic professional education at School of Hygiene, Accra with a Diploma for Public Health Inspector in 1993. After working for 10 years in the field, he pursued a professional educational programme in UCC and had his Diploma in Health Sciences Education in 2004

Eric Nyamekye has gathered vast experience by playing numerous roles and serving in various capacities in the College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo and other areas including Environmental Health Tutor, College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo – 2004 up to date.

Institutional Coordinator Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illnesses (IMNCI) program, College of Health and Well-Being Kintampo. 2014 to 2016.

Board Member, Kintampo Water Supply System – 2007-2009.
