Dr. Puplampu was the Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, of the College from December 2018 until January 2024. He has been practicing as a Specialist Dental Surgeon and a teacher for the past 23 years.
He was the past President of the Ghana Dental Association (GDA) and past Council Member of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA).
He is a graduate of the University of Ghana Dental School and obtained his Specialist training from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS).
He has worked in several hospitals in Ghana, including Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, Koforidua Regional Hospital, and the University of Ghana Dental School.
Dr Puplampu has been an External Faculty/Examiner (PA-Medical & PA-Dental programs) for the College of Health and Well-Being (formerly Rural Health Training School) since 2004. He has been instrumental in the birth and establishment of the Oral Health (Dental) Department, including heading the department in 2012 for a period, as appointed by the Ministry of Health to champion the course of the unit until his substantive appointment as the Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, in 2018.
He is an Ordained Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
