{"id":501,"date":"2020-03-20T14:01:31","date_gmt":"2020-03-20T14:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/?p=501"},"modified":"2021-08-12T10:56:42","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T10:56:42","slug":"cohwk-granted-institutional-accreditation-by-the-national-accreditation-boardnab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/index.php\/2020\/03\/20\/cohwk-granted-institutional-accreditation-by-the-national-accreditation-boardnab\/","title":{"rendered":"CoHWK granted Institutional\/Programme Accreditation by the National Accreditation Board(NAB)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-495\" src=\"http:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG_0972-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG_0972-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG_0972-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG_0972-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Accreditation and Affiliation<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The National Accreditation Board (NAB) of Ghana has accredited the College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo to run the following Degree programmes:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-526\" src=\"http:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Picture3-1024x489.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"489\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Picture3-1024x489.png 1024w, https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Picture3-300x143.png 300w, https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Picture3-768x367.png 768w, https:\/\/cohk.edu.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Picture3.png 1190w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">at its meeting held from 19<sup>th<\/sup> to 20<sup>th<\/sup> December 2019 has reaffirmed its accreditation for a period of five (5) years with effect from 1<sup>st<\/sup> September 2019 to 31<sup>st<\/sup> August 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The NAB also stipulates that proposed universities be established as university colleges and be affiliated to already established and accredited university. For this reason the College of Health and Well-Being is affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Cape Coast (UCC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The implication of this is that the University of Cape Coast and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology shall oversee the growth and academic activities of this College and the respective programmes affiliated to them and jointly award the degrees of the College until this College is given the Presidential Charter to award its own degrees.
