Director<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Dr. Puplampu was the Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, of the College from December 2018 until January 2024. He has been practicing as a Specialist Dental Surgeon and a teacher for the past 23 years.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

He was the past President of the Ghana Dental Association (GDA) and past Council Member of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA).<\/span><\/p>\r\n

He is a graduate of the University of Ghana Dental School and obtained his Specialist training from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS).<\/span><\/p>\r\n

He has worked in several hospitals in Ghana, including Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, Koforidua Regional Hospital, and the University of Ghana Dental School.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Dr Puplampu has been an External Faculty\/Examiner (PA-Medical & PA-Dental programs) for the College of Health and Well-Being (formerly Rural Health Training School) since 2004. He has been instrumental in the birth and establishment of the Oral Health (Dental) Department, including heading the department in 2012 for a period, as appointed by the Ministry of Health to champion the course of the unit until his substantive appointment as the Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

He is an Ordained Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
